Course overview
The Bachelor's degree programme in Economics and Business aims to provide students with:

  • the necessary knowledge to understand and critically analyse economic phenomena at various levels (macroeconomic, market, enterprise);
  • useful competencies to deal with the economic problems faced by private companies and public bodies;
  • the knowledge required to successfully continue their studies, enrolling in a Master's degree or Professional Master's programme.

This Bachelor's degree programme provides students with a flexible and multi-purpose education, based on a grounding in economic, mathematical-statistical, business and legal issues, in order to have a general overview of economic phenomena.

Three different curricula are activated, two of which aim to analyse the different economic institutions. The third curriculum is focused on the tourist sector.

Internships and a final exam complete the course.

Curricula available

  • Economics and Business (Italian)
  • Economics, Markets and Finance (fully taught in English)

Occupational profiles
Students, according to the chosen curriculum, will be able to have multiple work possibilities in the industrial, services, finance, public administration or tourism (both public and private) sectors, thanks to their developed interdisciplinary ability (economic, legal, management and statistic-mathematical abilities). The continuation of studies could take place through Master’s Degree programmes in the Department of Economics and, in general, in all pertinent programmes in all Science of Economics or Economic-Business Sciences classes.

Attendance
Open

Examination assessment and graduation
The course includes lectures, workshops and internships for the acquisition of expertise useful in the working world.
Throughout the course, the knowledge gathered by the students will be assessed through intermediate written and oral examinations.
The final exam consists of the submission of a written thesis (commensurate to the weight in credits) decided upon with a professor (rapporteur).
The final thesis may even consist of a written report on the results of experimental research or a written report on an internship.
